I was reading an Associated Press article dateline Farmers Branch-TX- a suburb of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
The article tells of how things are in that community- since passing an ordinance requiring landlords to assert that their renters are American citizens or otherwise people with legal documents to prove they are here legally.
On the surface- any TRUE American would say hey- I don't have a problem with that. But- true to Bizzaro America form- some folks DO have a problem with that.
Again- for the umpteenth time- what is not understood about the word LEGAL??
I have absolutely nothing against people of different race-color-creed or religion wanting to live in America. In fact- I encourage the diversity and different viewpoints.
What I HATE is laws on the books not enforced- or done so in selective manner.
To those who govern us- start governing!
The laws are already in-place on how to handle the problem of ILLEGAL immigration- so get off your fat asses and ENFORCE THE LAWS CONGRESSPERSONS AND SENATORS!
