This incident was reported here at CSW- when Pittsburgh paramedics made excuses not to go to a patient complaining of abdominal pains during a snowstorm.
The man's mate made several calls over a 30-hour period- and NONE of the EMS crews made contact with the patient on any of the calls.
"At least 2" medics have been "disciplined"- states the ASSOCIATED PRESS story- although none of the EMS dispatchers who called units off at least 2 of those calls have been punished.
