Temperatures this morning plunged to as low as -15-degrees below zero in southwestern Iowa and just to double-digit below-zero readings in the northern Kansas City MetroRegion around Maryville and Rockport MO.
Shown here are 2 perspectives of the snowcover over the United Corporate States of America as well as the Central States region.
That snowpack will keep air masses moving south from Canada well refrigerated with little to no chance of much modification until the snowpack melts- with at least 2 more storms seen on weather models later this month.
At least many of us in the Central States MAY see a white Christmas this year....
