Drizzle Has Begun In Metro Kansas City

Temperatures that were around the 40-degree mark have already fallen 3 degrees just in the past hour here in southeastern KC-MO..


As shown by this Overland Park traffic camera- drizzle has begun over Johnson county KS and will spread over the entire Metro in the next hour.

Temepratures will continue falling- possibly reaching the freezing mark later this evening.

Untreated surfaces may become slick and hazardous later this evening and overnight- but the precip should end early Monday.

Winter Storm watches for late Monday now extend southward into Metro K.C.- Platte county MO and Leavenworth county KS..

No 'hail helmets' should be necessary.... :)
