Metro Kansas City Communities Think Alone On Public Transit

A blog that sprang up around the time of the light-rail election - KC LightRail points out in a post today how the K.C. Metro is no closer to having a COMPREHENSIVE public transit plan.

The public transit issue is as every bit as important as another issue politicians seems to give only lip service to: comprehensive health care.

Just what- WHAT does it take to get it through everybody's head that the days of even $2-per-gallon gasoline is over?

The metropolitan areas that will continue to see growth will have an efficient multi-modal transit system that gets the people to the jobs and the attractions.

The path Metro Kansas City is on does not lead to the above example.
