KANSAS CITY'S WEATHER: Storms Increasing In Southern- Southeastern Kansas

The Tornado Watch for southeastern Kansas and southwestern Missouri will be expiring as the main tornado threat is now limited to a couple of counties in northeastern Oklahoma.

However- a large area of shower and thunderstorms continue to increase as they move more northeasterly out of central and northern Oklahoma.

This area as you see by the radar image below- is now in Kansas. It's moving more generally toward the K.C. Metro and will surely affect southern portions of the MetroRegion- especially Linn County Kansas which received up to 2.5-inches of rain earlier today.
