Belton-MO police are investigating a shooting in their city that occured shortly before midnight.In happened near the intersection of North Scott and Hargis and the victim- a "Hispanic male" is in very critical condition with "multiple small-caliber gunshot wounds" according to their EMS unit.
Police from several agencies- including the KC-MO police helicopter- were assisting Belton in an area search for the "Hispanic male" suspect.
