Comsumer purchases dived in June- according to this report from the AP and the Department of Commerce.

Many folks apparently did like I do- quit buying all the unnecessary bright- shiny crap we're bludgeoned with constantly on the Boob Tube.

Please- someone explain to me then why the stock market hasn't crashed like a BIG dog yet? Is Corporate America making that much off us?

The new petroleum plateau looks to be around $3 per gallon now- has ANY OF YOU gotten a raise in pay to reflect that rise?
