KANSAS CITY'S WEATHER: Thunderstorms With Torrential Rains In The Metro

Thunderstorms continue to increase in intensity and coverage- right over the 6 KC Metro counties.

Of particular note is the northern parts of Johnson County KS- where- refering to the below image- more than 2-inches of rain has fallen in the past hour and a half.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE EARLY EVENING HOURS- AND THERE IS A CHANCE OF FLASH-FLOODING.

AREAS AROUND INDIAN- TURKEY AND BRUSH CREEKS SHOULD BE WATCHED FOR THE NEXT 3-4 HOURS.
