With the temperatures now below freezing- sleet and freezing rain have begun in Emporia and in Lawrence.
As you can see in this image taken in Emporia just before noon- sleet is covering roadways there.
Temperatures are also below freezing in Johnson County KS- but no road problems have been reported yet.
