In fact- a Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect until 10:15 am for Anderson County KS and the City of Garnett.
The storms you see on this weather radar image from NWS-Topeka are moving north-northeast- and will probably affect extreme SW & W Johnson County and most of Douglas County KS- including Lawrence- over the next hour.
