The fire was dispatched to five companies of the Olathe Fire department at 12:21 a.m.- a reported house fire in the 200 block of South Central.
Only "a light haze" of smoke was reported coming from the "2-story" house when the first fire truck arrived at 12:25 a.m.- and an injured occupant was reported by that fire crew a minute later.
That occupant was reported by MEDACT-EMS Unit-1151 as "a 33-year-old female" who took in a not life-threatening amount of smoke while "attempting to put out the fire" in her house- and she was taken to the Olathe Medical Center.
The woman's firefighting efforts apparently paid off- as damage was light as reported by the OFD and a fire investigator's report on this incident was not yet publicly available.
