A male who a KC-MO FD-EMS crew estimated to be "in his late 30's to early-40's" was struck by a vehicle that left the scene at 27th Street and Olive early Saturday morning.
The incident occurred about 1:09 a.m.- and EMS says the man was struck at a speed of "around 40-45 m.p.h.."
The victim's injuries were very critical and possibly mortal.
There was no vehicle description available yet from police.
