Investigators from several law enforcement agencies are involved after a body was found in northwestern Douglas County Thursday morning.
The LAWRENCE (KS) JOURNAL-WORLD reports the body was found about 10:45 a.m. Friday morning along North 2190 or "River" Road and the Burlington Northern/Santa Fe (BNSF) mainline railroad tracks.
So far- the police aren't giving many details on the discovery- but late Thursday afternoon the TOPEKA (KS) CAPITAL-JOURNAL reports the deceased as being 39-year-old Corey Brown.
Brown was reportedly "a developer" said the TCJ story- and he had been "missing since Tuesday."
