Central States News: Tulsa- Oklahoma Politicians Preparing More "Incentives" For Bankrupt American Airlines

Metro Tulsa and Oklahoma politicians and business leaders are trying to conjure up economic "incentives" to keep American Airlines' overhaul base in Tulsa.

American Airlines- who still owes the City of Kansas City millions of dollars for breaking their lease of the old TWA overhaul base at K.C.I. airport in 2010- filed for bankruptcy last November.

The story in the TULSA (OK) WORLD tells of tens of millions of dollars already given the airline since 1995 in the forms of other "incentives"/corporate welfare.

Around 7000 people are employed at the 56-year-old Tulsa facility located at the Tulsa International Airport (TUL).
