Bank Robbery in Ottawa KS

A few minutes after 10 a.m. Friday morning- a lone male thought to be armed robbed the Great Southern Bank branch on South Princeton in Ottawa.

From the OTTAWA (KS) HERALD- a suspect description was "a white male in his 30s to 40s with a white, scruffy beard, wearing worn and dirty blue jeans, a brown shirt with a plaid long-sleeved shirt over it and a camoflauge(sic)-style hat. A woman with dirty blonde hair was driving the (suspect) vehicle — an older red Chevrolet pick-up truck — the man left the scene in, Butler said. Police are unsure at this time of the woman’s age."

No one was harmed in the robbery and as of yet- no mention of how much $$$ the suspect got in the robbery.
