At least 9 units of Johnson county KS fire departments- mostly from Fire District 1- are battling an extra-alarm fire in Gardner.
The fire is at the "Moonlight Ridge Apartments-" located at 400 South Moonlight Road in southeastern Gardner.
An extra-alarm response sounded at 1:40 p.m.- the fire was first reported around 1:30 p.m..
JoCo MEDACT-EMS transported a "60-year-old female" occupant of an apartment at Moonlight Ridge to a JoCo hospital.
The woman reportedly suffered "minor smoke inhalation" and the medical report to the hospital indicated the woman was in good condition.
The fire was reported under control at 1:54 p.m. and thus far no cause or dollar estimate of damage is available.
