Word came down at 10:31 pm Sunday night that an "officer needs assistance- officer down (shot) at Vivion Road and U.S. 169" in that far little sliver of southwestern Gladstone MO..
Within minutes the information was somewhat clarified to say that "an officer and a suspect" was shot at the location.
At 10:41 pm- reports from the scene are that there is one DOA.
At 10:47 pm- Gladstone EMS transported "a 33-year-old male police officer who was shot in the hand" and in non-serious condition.
At 10:52 pm- another Gladstone EMS unit transported "a 34-year-old male who was involved in a shoot-out but not shot" to the same Northland medical trauma center..
