Here are some update photos of what's left of the old Bannister Mall at I-435 & Bannister Road.Left click on the photo to enlarge- then right click to "Properties" and the file name to see where at the old mall the photo was taken..
In case you've been out-of-city for years- the old mall's being demolished and a new Kansas City Wizards soccer stadium and other amenities are being built on the site.
About all that's left is about the southern 1/3 of the mall around the area where the Sears store was.
Note the piles of scrap metal in some of the photos
