Hurricane Ike: Latest Satellite Images - K.C. MetroRegion Update



Shown here is a Central U.S. satellite image (click on all for full size) depicting Tropical Storm Lowell in northwestern Mexico (lower left) and Category-2 Hurricane Ike over the central Gulf of Mexico (lower right)- forecasted to strike the Texas coast near Galveston late tomorrow or early Saturday.


Lowell will produce copious amount of rainfall in the Kansas City MetroRegion over the next 2 days and Ike will contribute even more rains over mostly the southern and eastern MetroRegion late in the weekend.

Flood conditions are forecasted over the central & southern Central States by early next week.
