2 killed when car runs off Kansas City highway overpass: Two people died when the car they were in ran off an interstate overpass in Kansas City.
The driver, Calleb M. Lugano, 22, of Overland Park, Kansas, and a passenger, Tuiemanu Ripley, 21, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died in the wreck.
Two female passengers, ages 23 and 22, are still in a hospital. One of them remains in critical condition. Their names have not yet been released.
The University of Central Missouri said three of the people in the car were students there.
