Garage Fire Damages Home in Lee's Summit Raintree Lake Area

Heavy smoke damage occurred to a home in the 400 block of Seagull in the Raintree Lake area of southern Lee's Summit MO after a garage fire late Sunday night.


The fire was reported about 11:20 p.m. in the garage of the home- and it required a mutual-aid assist from the South Metro Fire department in Raymore.

The occupants of the house escaped uninjured.

At least one car and the contests of the garage were totalled- and there was smoke damage throughout the 1-1/2-story structure after the fire was declared under control at 11:39 p.m. and all flames were totally doused at 11:54 p.m..
