Shooting Homicide Near KC-MO Crossroads-Power and Light Districts

It was 2:35 a.m. Saturday morning when KC-MO Center Patrol officers were sent to investigate the sounds of shots fired- possibly a shooting- in the 1800 block of Grand Boulevard near downtown.


Officers arrived moments later to find a yet-unidentified man in his later teens or early 20's dead inside a car outside of the nightclub Balanca's.


A witness reports the shooter(s) left in "a silver (colored Ford) Taurus-" but police didn't have or weren't releasing any suspect information later Saturday

Police did release the identity of the victim and that was 20-year-old Jeremy Mott of KC-MO..
