Snow- Sleet Causing Slick Roads In Platte County and Kansas

ur mobile reporter Phil Wall is reporting snow and sleet as far south as Northwest 72nd Street in Platte County MO and crash reports in that northwestern Metro county are on the increase over the past hour.


Slick roads are also reported in and around Topeka-KS- as reported by The TOPEKA CAPITOL-JOURNAL.

Temperatures in south KC-MO are slowly falling- 41-degrees at 10:50 am- and this trend will continue throughout the afternoon Metro-wide with scattered rounds of rain becoming mixed with sleet and snow- possibly turning to all snow after sunset.

NO significant accumulations are expected on Metro streets and roadways through midnight.
