All of Metro Kansas City- and much of the MetroRegion is in a forecasted area for possible severe thunderstorms later this Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning.
Severe-criteria-size hail and wind gusts are the primary severe threat- along with deadly lightning and possible flash flooding.
The risk area includes all of the MetroRegion except the extreme northwestern and northern areas of Missouri.
