Storms Scoot Until Late Weekend

Once again - the Kansas City MetroRegion survived another bout of severe weather with very little damage.

For thousands in the mid-south part of the Metro itself - it also brought little or no rain. The raingauge here at the Newscenter read zilch.

Thunderstorms - some possibly severe - should return to our area later in the weekend as the front that passed through Friday morning returns northward as a warm front.

The NWS' Storm Prediction Center has the K.C. MetroRegion in a "slight risk" Sunday and Monday.
